TO THE RESCUE! My Wife and I Take in Two Cats Abandoned in a Shopping Cart
On Monday (August 27) two adult cats were abandoned in a shopping cart outside of my wife’s job. Yesterday we picked them up and took them home to foster them. They’re safe now, but will need time to decompress after this traumatic experience. Keep following for updates on their journey to find a new forever home.

APPLE: Three Week-Old Rescue Kitten
In 2017 we rescued 3 week-old Apple from the NYC shelter with a severe ear infection. This is her first day at Hotel Mancuso.

Who says cats are untrainable? Using clicker training, I taught Mitsurugi how to give high-fives. He enjoys it almost as much as I do.
Phoebe & Hershel
For a year and a half Phoebe and Hershel were adversaries. After the tragic loss of a mutual friend, these two became bonded. TodayPhoebe and Hershel are like an old, married couple.
Gracelyn: Our Paralyzed Cat
Gracelyn was surrendered to the NYC shelter after an injury that left the 7 week old kitten hind-limb paralyzed. After fostering her for a few months, she decided she wanted to become a permanent resident of The Island of Misfit Cats
